What does a saving a new view in the analytics dashboard do?

Saving a “New View” in the analytics dashboard allows you to save custom analytic data sets for future reference. All “New Views” you create will be located along the top of the analytics dashboard to the right of the “All Analytics” tab. You can access the views at any time.
