How do I improve the engagement rate of my Pin?
Pins can be designed to capture your guest's attention and inspire action in a number of different ways!
-
Position
-
Offset your Pin's vertical or horizontal distance from either the bottom left or right corner of your site visitor's screen to optimize for your native web design.
-
-
Border Color, Shape and Size
-
In some contexts, it makes sense to use a flashy, primary border color and large preview size to WOW your guests and get them to dive into the media content delivered in your Pin; such as a special promotional offer or exciting announcement.
-
At other times, your customer segment will call for a transparent border and a small, circular shaped video player that blends into the aesthetic of the webpage. We encourage experimentation that aligns with your brand standards and saving these settings as your Pin's default style once you've achieved results.

Load and Minimization Settings
-
Pins remain ever-present in a site visitor's viewport as they scroll the screen. On some webpages, this could be overstimulating and affect your Moment's Engagement rate.
-
A few things to try to influence Engagement for a Pin include delaying the Pin from loading with the page load by either setting a time delay or setting the Pin only to load after the site visitor's scrolled below the fold.
-
You can also set your Pins to be minimize-able, which will hide the content into a tab widget on the side of the screen.

-
Content
-
A preview of the enclosed content of a Pin is visible to your guest prior to Interaction/Engagement. To positively influence Engagement with your Pin, make certain the first few seconds of your content includes a visual hook to inspire your guests to take action.
